This stunning new-build project in Kent involved replacing an existing bungalow with a traditional-style, five-bedroom family home. Set in beautiful countryside, the finished house is both functional and timeless, designed with care to reflect the surrounding landscape.

01. The Brief

The aim was to create a spacious and comfortable family home that felt rooted in its setting while delivering modern functionality.

Working closely with the clients, our team was tasked with designing a house that would suit the needs of a growing family, using high-quality materials and a traditional aesthetic that would stand the test of time.

02. Challenges & Considerations

One of the main considerations was ensuring that the new property blended naturally into its rural surroundings. The selection of materials played a key role in this, with red brick, timber cladding, and natural stone chosen for their character and durability.

Internally, the challenge was to maximise natural light and create flowing, practical living spaces, while including additional features such as a sunroom, garage, and generous bedrooms to suit modern family life.

03. The Outcome

The result is a warm, inviting home that combines traditional style with contemporary comfort. With spacious living areas, large windows and doors that let in an abundance of natural light, and carefully chosen finishes throughout, this property is perfectly suited for family living.
